Two years ago I have wrote in this corner an article pledging
weapons-producing countries to stop production just for 1 year and use
the saved money for feeding hungry people (it would have fed them for
years & years)
It is not possible for President Chirac
or President De Sylva to have
read my article which was a like a shout in a valley that would only
echo in it. Yet we heard the news about the presidents meeting last
month. They decided on suggesting a project to the United Nations to
incorporate VAT (value-added tax) on weapons selling & use the profits
to feed the hungry.
Merci Monsieur Chirac & Gratsia Senieur De Sylva … my dream is
becoming a truth
Was it telepathy? Was it based on political backgrounds or pure
humanistic feelings?
Is it the rekindling of the unconscious U.N with humanistic & social
issues?
Would a project like this be able to survive or at least be discussed
with the World's decision makers?
God knows …
Weapons exporting countries would accept this project, as they are not
paying anything. Who is then? For sure, they are the underdeveloped
countries; the consumer pays the VAT while the retailer is far off the
shore. Whether these countries accept or not, what is the weapons'
trade future?

The obvious thing is the little that is being sold
openly to the underdeveloped countries. The reckoning might be based
on political, strategic, economic or financial (controlled by
dominating countries) reasons.
I will not get into international political mazes & try to sell the
bear's fur before it is hunted; but if my words two years ago were a
valley's shout that faded away then what would the fate of the
presidential shout. Presidents are able to shatter the sound and
silence's wall & communicate their ideas through the earth's space &
its satellites.
Would the great, greatest, or Goddess countries listen to these
humanistic suggestions? I doubt it …
Alternatively, is the humanism now fading … as if it is being asked to
depart to the holy lands while people are returning from it?
Even our satellite news is insignificant to these majestic countries.
Everybody is now heading towards Mars planet
